Gide x Regimbeau – Patent Litigation pioneer before the UPC

On August 4, 2023, Gide x Regimbeau - Patent Litigation filed a patent revocation action before the Paris-Central Division of the Unified Patent Court (UPC), becoming the first French team to act before this division.

Then, on October 26, 2023, our team became the first in the jurisdiction's young History to plead before the Central Division. At the heart of the proceedings were complex legal issues relating to the interpretation of article 33 (4) of the UPC Agreement.

Just a few weeks after the opening of the UPC, this action confirms Gide x Regimbeau's leading position for patent litigation in Europe.
